Nanny here: I first started at a CDC that accepted 6-week-old little babies. Back then, it seemed normal to me. Now, after a decade, that seems so so sad to me (not that there is anything wrong with having your child in daycare). They are so teeny and it makes me so sad that parents are not able to stay and enjoy their babies. I mean, you cannot even try getting them to sleep through the night until around 12 weeks, so companies expect parents to wake every 2-3 hours at night and then work full days away from their babies? np: your are naive. that strip of York starting at 90th Street already has a lot of traffic due to the 96th st entrance to the FDR backing up, it's going to get SO MUCH worse. that area is overall quiet and not commercial and it will become like the major avenues where there are constantly trucks there, and they will be garbage rather than food delivery. going by that playground and field all day long. if you read all the information, it's going to be the most expensive transfer station in nyc by a wide margin.
