I am because I want to clear the college kids and hometown friends out of the house. Son came home with friends to watch the fight on PPV and all his old friends have been hanging out here all day. It's nice to see all the kids pass through and I'm happy to feed them and let them watch a few more ppv movies, but time to clear out when the sun goes down, gentlemen. [ Reply | More ]

I know but it is so bad. Suits doesn't do that. Like evidence obtained illegally is admissible, confessions without a lawyer are admissible, witness in prison says he will testify for your client and you don't get him to swear an affidavit and then he comes on the stand and changes his whole story, and you are surprised. I don't know much but i don't think that's how it works. [ Reply | More ]

I am a "horse mom" and recently watched the movie Stepmom for the first time since it originally came out. She does DB's laundry and cleans his bottles but when I ask her to separate what he grew out of she does crappy job (puts aside a few things but clearly doesn't go through everything). She cleans his room ok. She doesn't do anything else around a house which is in part my fault because I didn't ask at the beginning (we had to hire her before DB was born and I wasn't sure how much work DB would be). We need her for another 10-12 months. Is it worth getting a new one or should I just suck it up? I feel like I am paying her and still have a ton of housework to do (which nanny could help with). 7 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Omg please replace her now. You still have a DB and so you'll be able to find a good nanny easily. I have two kids now 5 and 7 and work a lot. Our nanny helps sort their clothes and toys, schedule play dates, oversee the speech therapist who used to come 4x a week, keep a running grocery list, etc. We had two mediocre nannies before her. She's my partner. With one DB, nanny has tons of free time. If she's lazy now she'll get way worse over time. [ Reply | More ]

OP - He is still a baby so clearly outgrows clothes. She also dresses him in clothes that clearly don't fit. AS in she puts long pants on him that now fit below the knee. When I say wash those and put them aside with small clothes, she says yeah, they are really small on him. Then why the F did you dress him in them? He has dresser full of clothes that I constantly replace with larger size. It's purely laziness on her part tbh. [ Reply | More ]

By "clearly outgrows" I meant that it's obvious that something is too small. Not to mention clothing has tags. He is 7 months, if something is for 0-3 there is no chance any baby would fit in it. [ Reply | More ]

Np-I would try to gently remind her that if she isn't reaching her potential, the issue lies with her, not her DH. It's tempting to blame your spouse, but the reality is that all he can do is offer support. If he's TRULY an impediment because he is a total jerk or verbally abusive or something, that might be one thing. But if he's just not "pushing" or "helping" her, the more likely scenario is that she doesn't know how to reach her goals and it's easier to pin it on her DH than to address why she lacks initiative/follow-through/leadership/etc. I agree that this is a classic line from someone having an affair. No one else can make her happy or make her accomplish what she believes she was meant to do. [ Reply | More ]
