yes, but many of those jobs are great including corporate (business-side, non-legal) positions. I've always believed that one of the great things about a law degree is that it prepares you for many different things other than and including practicing law. obviously things are a bit different now with a constricted job market in many sectors and graduate school being so expensive, but I still believe that law school teaches you to think in a way that serves you well in whatever career you choose. signed boutique law partner who has been a prosecutor, a trader, and a writer during my 20+ years post law school. I had this when I was 6 months pregnant. I freaked out, the doctor did an ultrasound, and everything was fine. My DS is now 6. [ Reply | More ]

Look up subchorionic hemorrhage - this happened to my sister at around 13 weeks. Looked like a crime scene. She and baby are fine now (5 months old in fact!) [ Reply | More ]

NNP DD attended IDTech twice. She enjoyed hanging out with other kids of similar interests, but, honestly, she already knew coding and didn't learn all that much. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Planning a small gathering for my dad's 85th bday. Just immediate family--My mom, siblings, and all our children who range from 7 rs to 25 yrs old. We will be 20 people in all. Thinking of getting a private dining room in a restaurant, and would like to have a little special entertainment--like a magician or something. Any ideas? 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

This is a good idea. Thank you! We are throwing this together at the last minute, so a montage might be difficult. He does not want a big party--just immediates, but looking for things to make it special and personal that we can pull off in the next couple of weeks. [ Reply | More ]

Montages do take time. I like music because it really takes people back in time and can pull the emotional strings and be fun. Plus, the music from that era is awesome and it makes the party to personal to him. [ Reply | More ]
