Now she's invited us to their next party, I expressed interest, and then she mentioned it would cost again. How to deal with this? Last year we went to each other's homes for dinners and parties without this added factor. 42 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

So I'm more obtuse than I realized - since I'm already renting in the building, should I just contact the listing agent with the building? Thank you so much for your help! [ Reply | More ]

No, they won't do anything. Find the address of the owner and do some googling to figure out if it's still live and send him an offer. [ Reply | More ]

not the mgmt co. The owner who can actually sell the place to you- the mgmt co. is just a middleman who holds out their hands for payment to do nothing [ Reply | More ]

No, not at all. I mean I guess if the apt has had rental listing before, you might find the old listing and go through that broker, but why not try the direct route first and try to save yourself some money. [ Reply | More ]

Sounds like it is a rental only building and a management company owns it/runs it - just ask the office for the detail on the apartment [ Reply | More ]
