[ - ] DH got let go today...very unexpected and he was completely blindsided. In a corporate world where this is always a fear. His 4th time in our 18 year marriage. I am weary. 3 dc's and 2 of them in high school.....college on the horizon. I am so sick of taking two steps forward and one backward. We live pretty modestly and I never feel like we will ever get ahead. Much less be able to retire. Vent over. 24 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

It's hard. People are just out for themselves in this country. People at the top don't care about the middle class. The middle class are so desperate to keep their jobs they don't protest or do anything. It's just sort of hard to get ahead. I'm not sure why it is in decline. [ Reply | More ]

He wants more kids as we only have one but I don't dare because he could lose it again and is always threatening to quit. We spent 5 yrs living off savings and my income. [ Reply | More ]

Do yourself a favor and Ferber. 10 months is a longg time. Not bragging but all 3 of mine were sleeping through the night by 4 mo thanks to Ferber. Only took a couple of nights. A 10 month old is not hungry in the middle of the night, this is just a habit that has formed. Habits can be broken. Your baby will be just fine and you will feel rested....which is very important.
