from what I understand it's a bright spot on ultrasound that usually means nothing, but can also be indcative of a number of complications. [ Reply | More ]

true- especially in the second trimester. Could be a whole host of genetic problems, but the amnio will have ruled those out. After that it is wait and see if it resolves itself [ Reply | More ]

means something is not forming correctly. Anything that is supposed to be soft tissue and shows up echogenic is not good. Many things fix themselves though. [ Reply | More ]

not bowels but DS had echogenic lungs. They said if it was what they thought, he would have no chance for survival. As it turned out, he had a heart defect and didn't make it, but the lung part cleared on it's own before the next ultrasound. GL to you [ Reply | More ]

I voted for David Cook, even though I know Archuleta is going to win. Americans have a history of voting for the wrong person. . . sure, Archuleta has an *amazing* voice, but he's at best, a lounge singer. No charisma, no moves, no style. His records will NOT sell, a la Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard. David Cook will go on to sell millions of records, as Chris Daughtry did. [ Reply | More ]

You should read Dr. Shettle's book even if you aren't trying for a certain gender it still breaks down all sort of statistics on this stuff. Yes, the chances are greater that you will have a third dd. You would need to take more time to use the Shettles method of upping your chances of getting a ds. If you know exactly when you will ovulate you could hold off having sex until that day (also dh shouldn't relieve himself prior to that either, he should also drink a coke about 30 minutes before sex). This will supposedly increase your chances of a ds. [ Reply | More ]
General Topics 05.21.08, 04:54 PM Flag

I disagree with Shettles. If it really worked, all of China and India would be using it and there would be few girls. I tried it myself, twice, and got a shettles opposite both times. The stat about 75% chance of the 3rd being the same is not true. It is 50-50 random each time. [ Reply | More ]
