[ - ] Good website for fashion advice for plus size, young women? Sister is 27, size 18, heavy undefined legs, thick middle, small chest/shoulders, 5'7". She's letting me buy her hot new "body thinner" garment and cutlets (boob filler for bras)--she's wanted both, but can't afford. But I want to include a fab new dress with the shipment, and don't know at all what would flatter. Websites? Personal advice? Thanks! 7 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

[ - ] ENOUGH with the "profoundly gifted" as special needs. Statistically, there are maybe 10 kids in NYC who are Little Man Tate gifted, but there seem to be an awful lot of moms on UB who feel their DC need special accomodations at age 4 or 5. Maybe DC just test well young, maybe they are just ahead of the curve developmentally. Even if DC is a budding Einstein, maybe your job as a parent is to give DC the opportunity to be a kid. 10 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

i agree. dd (99 across the board) went to a regular, general ed public school in brooklyn and has done beautifully. frankly i think trying to find special little niches for our gifted flowers will only reinforce the freak aspect -- i'll take a good set of friends representative of the general nyc population any day.
