I found that being in my own house I was less inclined to do other wasteful things though. Like I didn't get delivery as often since I had my own kitchen. Are you/SO handy? That is what really made it do-able for us. I have done 90% of the renovations myself. (That 90% is only 25% of what dw would like but that is for a different thread.) [ Reply | More ]

I quit 2 packs a day nine years ago. I did accupuncture for a month immediately after quitting, ate jelly beans, and read every book on quitting smoking I could find Quit and Stay Quit is a great one. Patrick Reynolds' (heir to tobacco giant) also wrote a great one. [ Reply | More ]

i quit the day i found out i was pg w/#1. craved it for a while. when dd was 4 months old, a bunch of people i was with were smoking so i had one. it tasted so gross! i'm sure if i had a few more, i would have gotten used to it again and enjoyed it, but that one after so long of not having one, tasted nasty. never had another. it's been 5 years.
