not for everyone -- i weaned ds at 22 months (he was still nursing to sleep at that point) by saying "not tonight, tomorrow morning" for three nights. he didn't ever want to nurse in the mornings, and after three days he didn't care about it at night anymore either. no problems -- but if we'd stopped earlier, it would have been a problem. mnnn, i don't think so. when children that age are referred to as "smart" it really just means that they are engaged and interested in learning. their child is probably average, i mean, just based on that description [ Reply | More ]

I think doing it too much is more for when you "think" you know when you're ovulating. You don't want to "use up" the good sperm and then ovulate a few days later. I think if you have a + opk, you'll be fine. Have at it! :) [ Reply | More ]

this is a tough topic. I would bring back in. I know people on this site are anti-Chinese and oh so smart but non-Western cultures are not inferior but different. So if you look at Chinese, they allow their kids to sleep with them until dc are ready for transition. Moving a child out of your bed in the middle of the night would be a pretty traumatic experience. I would not do it. [ Reply | More ]
