Besides, there are only 3 other kids on the bus and they get to school early and so is my dc. Dropped off first before anyone else at the school. Driver is just a cautious man. He's reliable. I think the enrichment class world will certainly be affected, but not as much as one would think. Most mothers will make their own coffee, blowout their own hair, buy themselves less clothes etc. before they will take their kids out of soccer/ballet etc. Some of the reason is genuinely wanting things to stay the same for the kids, but some of it is that "the Joneses" will wonder why Jonny suddenly isn't taking soccer anymore and they will start to talk. I am trying to find a job for my nanny whom I probably have to let go, because I will be laid off. I think she would prefer to work with children, but would also work with the elderly, she is very caring and patient. 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

through a government agency it's not a lot, but off the books, hired by a wealthy family to take care of grandma, it's the same pay as a nanny, around $600/week. The hours can be longer though -- a lot of companion jobs are 8-8 [ Reply | More ]

first, your body is not a machine, healthy fertile couples only have a 30% chance pregnancy rate per cycle. You won't ovulate every single month of your life. Your partner may have masturbated beforehand and had a low sperm count. Your timing could have been a day or two off. Many reasons possible. For better results however, buy some ovulation sticks from the drug store, then you will know the best 48 hours of your cycle roughly to try. [ Reply | More ]

it depends on the length of your cycle! The ovulation occurs most of the time on the day 14 days prior to your first day of your next period: 28-day-cycle on day 14, 24-day-cycle on day 10... But it is not like clockwork: stress, traveling... changes the cycle. [ Reply | More ]

yeah, i wouldn't know either. And if i were adding a menorah when chanuka starts in an effort to be inclusive, i might feel really sore if some PITA came yelling at me for not respecting her right, instead of just letting me know when its normally done. as for the rest of us, it doesn't matter, so long as its not until after thanksgiving...the lazier you are, the later. right, but the point is, if a tree is not religious, and can be put up anytime, then if you're putting up the menorah to be inclusive, why wait until the exact beginning of the holiday? Seems like putting up a menorah is the same as the tree in terms of "holiday spirit". They aren't waiting until December 24 to put up the tree. [ Reply | More ]
