[ - ] What is the oldest you are willing to have a child? I know it is a personal decision and there are so many factors that can influence one's choice but what is your own personal cut-off? I am 37 and ttc #2, for me I always said "40" but now that I have a dc, I don't want to be older than 38. 18 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

why 35? That seems very young to have as a cut off. Geez, we had no.1 at 35, after 2 years of trying and 2 IVF's, no.2 at 38, after 7 IUI's and 2 IVF's, and now want one more. I am 40. Sorry for seeming defensive, but 35 as a cut off?? [ Reply | More ]

try the bella band (google it). it sounds weird but works wonders - im at 23 weeks and haven't bought any new work pants thanks to it -- you can keep them unbuttoned and unzipped and the bella band goes over them, holds them up and no one knows! best investment i've made! [ Reply | More ]

I also agree with the bella band. I started needing it earlier than you (about 11-12 weeks) but it really got me through the transition stage. I have to say that once I got to about 18 weeks maternity was more comfortable, but it really helped extend the life of my regular pants. Plus, you can use it post-partum. As for clothes, I've had good luck at Old Navy and Gap. They have sales regularly. [ Reply | More ]

Ellen is a nice person and a good teacher, but the classes were excrutiatingly long, and we joked the pain of the class was serious preparation for the pain of childbirth. I'd take a shorter class. We did learn a lot, and it forced my husband to have to sit and think about what it all really meant. Several hours in class after work one night a week for 8 weeks when you are at the peak of your pregnancy... [ Reply | More ]

It depends a lot more on the hospital and your doctor. Some hospitals are more accepting to natural but some are very difficult. I had 2 non medicated births at cornell, but I had a great doula who got along w/nurses and drs. But it was not easy to "get my way" and I would recommend a doula before anything else.
