[ - ] Does anyone else notice that McCain and McCain supporters tend to totally ignore what is being said and pretend like they didn't hear it, even when what they are saying is wrong, and is corrected, they continue on with their same incorrect attacks on Obama as if they've had earplugs in their ears. Who wants a President who doesn't listen? Not me! 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Because they don't re-norm every year. To find the percentile a score corresponds to, they use normalization tables that were published god knows when. The tables were from data all over the country including kids that have issues etc. When you use those tables with nyc kids who've been in great preschools with great parents etc, it skews the results. NP, every time I ask this question (about Palin) irl - the person NEVER answers it. Just like OR - they answer with a question about Obama. It is the weirdest thing. Why can't someone just answer the question asked? Don't play the "I may not answer the question the way JB or the moderator wants me to, but I'm going to talk straight to the American people" game. She sounded like an idiot when she made that decree at the beginning of her debate and people who respond by asking about Obama follow suit. [ Reply | More ]

You are not interested in answer to the question - read theses posts. "She sounded like an idiot" pretty much sums up how the critics of the McCain/Palin ticket talk. Perhaps I like her economic policies as outlined, the fact that she straight talks with the highest governor approval rating in the country, I like her personal values as opposed to Obama/Biden, I like her experience as opposed to the others. I like the fact that she is a woman. There are more reasons...but you will resort to name calling stupid,freak,idiot...come on same your indignation for yourself! [ Reply | More ]

It kind of depends on the school and the kid. She should wear whatever she feels most comfortable in, really. At our school, the PSD asked the parents during the tour to not dress them up in party clothes so that they would feel comfortable playing. And she was looking for which parents paid attention and did that, and which ones dressed them in fancy clothes anyway. [ Reply | More ]

My wife had one late in 2nd tri. Tests had suggested a high chance of chromosomal problem (trisomy) and she went for amnio. They did ultrasound and found no heartbeat so... This was about 2 years ago and it has been tough. But it gets better. On what would have been first birthday it was especially tough. But time really helps. (Good news: Nobody but she, her doc and I know this but she is preg again now (only a few weeks.) I think that will help a lot too.) Good luck. [ Reply | More ]

My BFF had one at 20 weeks. It was devestating. I am so sorry for your loss. I know it sounds lame but time helps so much. It has been 5 years for her and she has three children now. However, those special dates , she goes and does something special for herself. As much as it hurts now, you will find a "new normal". I am so very sorry for you and your DH.
