I think it is a fabulous school & considered it seriously for my creative dc. I know many families there with varied backgrounds & many with very creative dc - they are all very happy. Academics are fabulous. [ Reply | More ]

Families seem to love it--it is structured but warm. Kids feel supported and the academics are very good. The emphasis on hands-on community service is a genuine plus. [ Reply | More ]

Now that the applications, interviews, fc letter etc areall over I'va actually calmed down.....it's all in their hands now and I can be sad/happy in two weeks. Also, trying to eat right, exercise and do fun things ( movies) where I don't have to talk about it. I'm trying to distance myself from it all and do something to make myself more interested in life and more interesting to talk to no matter what happens. my nephew did just last summer (he was 3yr). My sister's Dr told her that he will be in pain. He didn't sugar coat it. In my mind I thought it was like in the movies..lots of ice cream. WELL my nephew was in horrible pain for a week. My sister said she was glad the Dr didn't sugar coat it. My nephew was miserable BUT after the week he was getting better. It took time to get back into eating normally. He lost lots of weight but all is well. He doesn't have sleep apnea anymore and actually sleeps great now. Wakes up in a good mood and not sleepy. Several years ago I got a call from a gym looking to check the reference of someone who had done babysitting for me and he told me he was thrilled to hire someone who had experience.
